U-M uses the software delivery platform, AppsAnywhere, to provide ready-to-run campus-provided Windows software. The available number of software library titles available can vary based on the user’s University role and affiliation and based on the access method and workstation type for accessing AppsAnywhere.
Ann Arbor Campus affiliation is required to use the Software Library, except for certain freeware and open-access titles. Check out the software list to see a full list of available software titles.
NOTE: Some software titles require that you be logged into the campus VPN to launch due to software licensing. Please visit the Virtual Private Network (VPN) page for information on accessing the campus VPN.
- PC users can access the AppsAnywhere Portal in three ways:
- Through Virtual Sites
- Directly from their personal PC
- Campus Computing Sites locations
- Mac users can access the AppsAnywhere Portal only through Virtual Sites
Mac computers in Campus Computing Sites locations also come with a broad range of Campus Computing software pre-installed in the application menu.
